Denso , a Japan based auto component maker is planning to add a new manufacturing facility in Manesar, Gurgaon to augment its production capabilities. The company is planning to invest around Rs. 300 Crore on the new project. They have already procured land for the project, and the production may commence by end of 2013.
The company would utilize the new plant to produce air- conditioning components like heat exchangers and various kinds of motors.
The company has four existing manufacturing facilities in India. Denso had also invested Rs. 100 Cr , in a manufacturing facility in Bangalore in 2010. Apart from this they have also been looking for additional land in south, to be able to cater to their customers in the region.
Denso, which has technical collaborations with Subros, Pricol and Lucas TVS in India, also plans to add around 600 employees by 2015 to its existing strength of 3000 employees in India.
