Kotak Mahindra Group announced senior leadership changes, effective July 1, 2012.
Mr. TV Raghunath would take over as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of the company (subject to regulatory approval). He will report to Ms. Shanti Ekambaram, Director, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd (KMCC) and Group President, Corproate & Investment Banking.
Paul Parambi will take over as Head-Group Strategy from TV Raghunath. In his present role he is Head-International Business. In the new role he would be focused on driving the business growth strategy. Paul has been associated with the group since 1991 and with the International Business since 1995.
Gaurang Shah, President, Asset Management and Life Insurance Businesses, Kotak Mahindra Group, would take over Paul’s role as an additional responsibility as Head of International Business. He has been with the group for over 15 years.
