Remedico raises $500K in Seed round from Venture Catalysts

Bengaluru-based mobile-based dermatology consultation platform, Remedico has raised $500,000 in a seed round from Venture Catalysts. It was Founded by Ranjit Bhatia in 2017.  Ranjit was earlier associated with Craftsvilla where he had come on a secondment from Sequoia and moved on to become the VP of Product.

This funding round also had participation from US-based Parkview Investment Advisors, Vida Ventures, and some angel investors – Anshumani Ruddra (VP of Product at Hotstar, ex-VP of Product at Practo), and Rohini Pandhi (Product Lead at Square). 

Ranjit Bhatia, Founder of Remedico, mentioned in statement that “This investment has validated our belief in the need and viability of Remedico’s core proposition. From app-based consultation to developing a robust product ecosystem, we have an exciting vision with Remedico that will benefit from investors such as Venture Catalysts and Parkview, not only in terms of capital but also the expertise and mentorship they provide.”

Remedico provides an end-to-end mobile healthcare service. It is currently focussed on dermatology, with doctors treating conditions such as acne, hair fall and pigmentation. It also offers a holistic experience that addresses the root cause of skin issues.
