Booz Allen Hamilton joins Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Booz Allen Hamilton announced that Booz Allen Hamilton has joined the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program where Booz Allen Hamilton will serve as a system integrator for ecosystem members.

The Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program enables unique use cases around critical asset tracking, secure digital twin and enabling seamless connectivity experiences offered through the Qualcomm IoT Services Suite. Qualcomm Technologies and Booz Allen Hamilton’s collaboration is focusing on various smart connected spaces including smart marine bases and naval fleet carriers, using vision intelligence and AI-cameras, the statement said.

The Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program, launched in 2019 as part of the Qualcomm Advantage Network, is designed to connect cities, municipalities, government agencies, and enterprises with an ecosystem of providers to help deliver greater efficiencies, cost savings, safety, and sustainability. With expertise in commercially deployed solutions, program members include hardware and software providers, cloud solution providers, system integrators, design and manufacturing companies, as well as those offering end-to-end smart city solutions. By connecting members looking for smart city solutions, the program aims to enrich lives through the accelerated transformation of city infrastructure and services. Qualcomm IoT Services Suite delivers comprehensive, end-to-end, IoT as a Service (IoTaaS) solutions to enable the digital transformation of smart cities and smart connected spaces globally, the statement added.
