Altimetrik announces leadership changes, appoints Krishna Muniramaiah as HR Head for APAC region

Altimetrik, a US-based business and IT transformation company, announced that it has named Krishna Muniramaiah as Head of HR for Asia Pacific region. Krishna holds over 21 years of experience in the IT industry.

In his new role, Krishna will be responsible for leading the firm’s human resource operations and strategic direction to boost talent engagement and retention in the APAC region. Krishna joined Altimetrik in May and was inducted through a virtual walkthrough owing to the lockdown.  

The firm also on boarded Sreenivas Moorthy Vadaguru as the Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) for India in April 2020, during the virtual work mode. Sreenivas will oversee social hiring strategy, automation and digitization of the TA processes in India. Both Sreenivas and Krishna will be based out of Bangalore. These two senior executive hires reflect the growing needs of company as it continues to see significant growth, adding new global clients.  

Altimetrik said that it has plans to hire about 1000 engineering specialists in Data, Java Technologies and Development Operations in India by end of December 2020. Till now, the company has onboarded 270 engineers. 

Prior to this role, Krishna has served as the Director HR for NTT’s Global Delivery Centers based out of India, Europe, South Africa and Malaysia. At NTT Ltd., he led HR strategy and operations for all Delivery Centers including TA, business partnering, Compensation and Benefits(C&B) and Learning and Development (L&D). He also designed TA, retention, engagement and up-skilling strategy to spur business growth. 

Prior to NTT, Krishna was with IBM for 15+ years where he held several global leadership roles. At IBM, he led several transformation projects to automate and digitize HR processes. He will directly report to Raj Sundaresan, COO of Altimetrik. 

At Altimetrik, Krishna will develop, execute and oversee HR strategies for Talent Management, C&B, L&D, Succession planning, Diversity and Inclusion and performance management. He is also associated with HR Federation of India, a professional group with 11,000+ HR professionals and the Global Workforce Management forum. 

Krishna is a Science graduate from Bangalore University. He also has certification in Executive Leadership Program from eCornell and pursuing PG in Senior Leadership Program from XLRI Jamshedpur.
