Bajaj Auto Limited announced that Shekhar Bajaj has resigned from the role of Non-Executive Director from the company’s Board, with effect from June 30, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with part A of schedule III to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (‘SEBI Listing Regulations), we wish to inform you that Shri Shekhar Bajaj (DIN: 00089358) has tendered his resignation as Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from close of business hours on 30 June 2022.”
Shekhar Bajaj is the Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Electricals Limited (BEL). He has been the past President of ASSOCHAM, IMC, ELCOMA (Electric Lamp & Components Manufacturers Association), IFMA (Indian Fans Manufacturers Association) and other associations.
