Ekta Kapoor-owned film, television and web content production house, Balaji Telefilms Limited, announced the appointment of Vivek Koka as Chief Business Officer – Films Division, with effect from November 9, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, we wish to inform that the Board of Directors of Balaji Telefilms Limited (“the Company”), at their meeting held today, inter-alia considered and approved the appointment of Mr.Vivek Koka, as the Chief Business Officer- Films Division (CBO-Films Division) of the Company, in addition to his current role as the Chief Business Officer of ALT Digital Media Entertainment Limited, Subsidiary Company.”
Vivek Koka has been with the Balaji Group since February 2023. Prior to joining Balaji Group, Koka was previously part of Shemaroo Entertainment Limited as the Business Head on Broadcasting (Shemaroo MarathiBana) & Digital (Bollywood Category) businesses. He has also held leadership positions in marketing at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and Tata Sky, across a career spanning 20 years.
