Indian conglomerate Dalmia Bharat Limited announced the appointment of Rajeev Kumar as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company, with effect from June 17, 2022. He succeeds Sanjeev Gemawat, who has resigned from the position of Executive Director, Group General Counsel and Group Company Secretary w.e.f. June 16, 2022
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board has appointed Mr. Rajeev Kumar as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company w.e.f. June 17, 2022.”
Rajeev Kumar is a Commerce Graduate and a fellow member of ICSI. He has over 27 years of functional expertise in the space of company secretary and compliance management. His last employment was with Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited as Company Secretary and VP- F&A.
His previous assignments include GMR Group, DLF, Lanco Infratech, Jubilant Organosys, etc. Rajeev’s experience includes working with different industries including Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Real Estate etc in matters relating to Secretarial, Corporate, IPO, Listing, Governance, RBI, NBFC, FDI, FEMA SEBI, IR etc.
