InCred Alternative Investments Private Limited (‘InCred’) announced the appointment of Vivek Singla as Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Private Equity. InCred Alternative Investments is part of InCred Capital (InCred Capital Financial Services Pvt Ltd), the institutional, wealth, and asset management arm of InCred Group
Vivek will spearhead InCred’s maiden Private Equity Fund, which will be the third Alternatives strategy from InCred after Structured Credit Fund and Liquid Quant Fund, a statement said.
Vivek brings deep domain knowledge in private equity investing and complements InCred’s presence in the alternatives arena. Vivek has over 18 years of investment experience across both private and public equity markets. His last role was as a Principal at Avendus PE Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd., where he played an instrumental role in building the Future Leaders Fund since its beginning as well as consummating multiple investments in companies like Bikaji Foods, Lenskart Solutions, NSE, Delhivery, SBI General Insurance, Juspay Technologies among others. Prior to Avendus, he was part of CLSA Capital Partners, where he was involved in a number of investments in India as well as South-East Asia. Vivek had previously worked with Kotak Asset Management and had started his career with Standard Chartered Asset Management in 2005.
