Electric Utilities company JSW Energy Limited announced the resignation of Prashant Jain as Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, with effect from January 31, 2024.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we hereby inform you that Mr. Prashant Jain has expressed his intention to take early retirement from active professional life to pursue his personal interests and accordingly step down from the position of Joint Managing Director & CEO and as a Key Managerial Person of the Company. Mr. Jain will continue to serve in his current position till 31st January, 2024 to support an orderly transition.”
“Mr. Prashant Jain has expressed his intention to take early retirement from active professional life and pursue his personal interests. Accordingly, he will step down as the Joint Managing Director & CEO, a Key Managerial Person and a Director of the Company,” according to the statement.
Jain is a mechanical engineer with more than 30 years of rich experience in Operations, Project Execution and Management, Corporate Strategy, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Affairs, Information Technology, Investor Relations and Policy Advocacy.
