National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) announced the promotion of B.V. Vittal as Executive Director (HR) of the company, with effect from August 8, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule Ill of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, we are pleased to inform you that Shri B.V. Vittal has been promoted as Executive Director (HR) of the Company w.e.f. 08.08.2023.”
B.V. Vittal has a rich experience of more than 30 years in various positions in NFL, GOI and Govt. of Karnataka. He has worked with Union Ministries, Parliament of India, Constitutional bodies, in addition to handling various responsibilities in NFL.
With M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication (Gold Medal), Vittal has handled large spectrum of areas like Human Resource Management, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Corporate Liasoning, Corporate Social Responsibility and administration in NFL.
He has also served as Dy. Resident Commissioner, Govt. of Karnataka , OSD to Union Minister of state (Independent Charge) Chemical & Fertilizers and Statistics & programme implementation, Additional Private Secretary to Dy. Chairman, Rajya Sabha, OSD to MoS, Ministry of Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution and PRO to National Commission for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes.
