PNB Housing Finance Limited announced the appointment of Pavan Kaushal as Additional Director in the category of Independent Director, with effect from October 27, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “this is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company, on recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr. Pavan Kaushal (DIN 07117387) as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director on the Board of the Company with effect from October 27, 2022.”
He is a seasoned professional with over 35 years’ experience in banking and financial services. He has held senior leadership positions for over 25 years at IDFC Bank, Citibank, ANZ, EY and Fullerton India. He has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Fullerton India.
Previously as the Chief Risk Officer, he managed the risk management across the NBFC and HFC. He was also responsible for Credit Policy, Credit Underwriting (Retail Banking, Housing Finance and Rural Banking), Enterprise Risk Management, Stress Testing, Information Security and Cyber Risk, etc.
He has worked with IDFC as their Chief Risk Officer. He was instrumental in formulation of the core business strategy in transformation of the bank from an infrastructure lending company to a universal bank.
