Raghav Bahl resigns as MD of The Quint

Founder of the Indian general news and opinion website The Quint, Raghav Bahl has resigned as the Managing Director of the company. Bahl will continue to act as Non-Executive Promoter Director on the Board.

Bahl’s resignation as the MD came into effect with the closure of business hours of December 29, 2020, according to the information provided by the company to BSE.

Raghav Bahl, a television journalist turned media entrepreneur, has founded Quintillion Media with his wife Ritu Kapur in 2014. Earlier, Bahl founded Network 18 in 1993, a media group that grew into one of the largest collections of media properties in India. Earlier, he also anchored at India Today for 2 years.

Bahl earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College and MBA from the University of Delhi.
