Rakesh Bhardwaj has joined mobility platform Ola as Global Chief Information Officer. He will be based out of Bengaluru and will report to the company’s co-founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal.
In this new role, Bhardwaj will be working closely with businesses and partners, providing strategic direction to Ola’s process and technology initiatives, which will cover the broad spectrum of Information Systems, Tools, Security, IT infrastructure & assets across the group.
Previously, Bhardwaj was SVP & Global CIO at Cognizant and was responsible for IT services for the enterprise domains.
Bhardwaj has over 28 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Microland Limited, GE Healthcare, and GE Capital in the past. He is global IT leader with demonstrated experience in delivering results in different business environments specialising in organisational change management and passionate about leadership, people development, learning and coaching.
