DCM Shriram, India’s leading chemical manufacturing company, has appointed Sandeep Girotra as President and CHRO of the company.
Girotra brings over 25 years of experience working across Indian and multinational companies in global and leadership roles, based out of India, Japan, Korea, the Middle East and Singapore.
Prior to this role, Girotra was working with Xylem Incorporation as CHRO for three years and was heading HR for Emerging markets for Xylem, managing six regions.
Girotra had a longest stint of 13 years with General Electric, where he joined as AVP – HR, GE Capital in1998. Prior to that, he had worked with DaVita Kidney Care, HSBC, Ranbaxy and DuPont.
Girotra holds a Master’s in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and B Com (Hons) from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
