Vistara, an Indian full-service airline, has announced the resignation of its Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer (CCO) Sanjiv Kapoor. Vinod Kannan, Chief Strategy Officer, will take over as the CCO from Kapoor, who joined the airline in March 2016.
In a media statement, the company, said, “As part of the transition process since Mr. Kapoor’s resignation, some of the portfolios had been moved under Mr. Kannan’s leadership, while some are still in the movement process.”
Sanjiv joined Vistara as its CCO in March 2016. Prior to Vistara, Sanjiv led SpiceJet, India’s second largest LCC, through its unprecedented turnaround as its COO and de facto CEO from November 2013 until October 2015. Sanjiv has over 20 years of experience in the airline industry.
