SBI Mutual Fund appoints Rajat Grover as CHRO

SBI Mutual Fund has appointed Rajat Grover as its Chief Human Resource Officer, according to ET report.

Grover comes with almost 19 years of experience in the HR domain and has handled various HR roles at national, regional and strategic levels.

Before joining SBI Mutual Fund, Grover was GM and Head of Business HR at Fullerton India Credit Company. He has also worked as President – HR at Yes Bank, and Manager – HR and SAP HCM Functional Consultant at Reliance Retail.

Grover started his professional journey with IDBI Bank as Regional HR Manager in 2004. In his new role, Grover will be reporting to D P Singh, Deputy Managing Director, SBI Mutual Fund, and will be based in Mumbai.

Rajat Grover, CHRO, SBI Mutual Fund, said, “I am very pleased to be the CHRO of SBI Mutual Fund, the largest AMC in the country with assets under management of over Rs 7 lakh crore. The asset management industry is a dynamic and fast-growing sector, and I am happy to be a part of it.”

“One of my key objectives will be talent transformation, enhancing employee experience and aligning talent strategy to the robust growth of the organisation,” Grover added.

Grover holds a PG Diploma in HRM from Symbiosis International University, and a Master’s in Personnel Management – HR from Indira Institute of Management. Recently, he completed his PhD in Business Management from Chitkara University.

SBI Mutual Fund is a payment system introduced by State Bank of India (SBI) and incorporated in 1987 with its corporate head office located in Mumbai, India.
