State-owned UCO Bank Limited announced that it has named Vikash Gupta as Compliance Officer of the company, with effect from August 1, 2023.
According to the Bank’s exchange filing, “The Board of Directors of the Bank has designated Mr Vikash Gupta, Company Secretary (Membership no-62815) as Compliance Officer of the Bank in terms of Regulation 6(1) of SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 from 1st August, 2023 in place of Mr N Purna Chandra Rao.”
Vikash Gupta holds a bachelor degree in Commerce and associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He is also a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). In addition, he holds a Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management and a certification in Banking Compliance Professional, both from the IIBF. He has been working with UCO Bank for the past 8 years in different roles viz. Investor Relations, Capital Raising etc.
