Auto components maker Uno Minda has appointed Rakesh Mehta as its Chief Human Resources Officer, according to ETHRWorld report.
Mehta comes with about three decades of experience in leading effective Human Resources teams, developing HR frameworks and strategies for large organisations.
He has expertise in cultural transformation, employee relations, mergers & acquisition, establishing effective people practices, compensations and benefits, according to a statement.
Prior to joining Uno Minda Group, Mehta was associated with JSW Energy as Senior Vice President and Head – Human Resources.
Previously, Mehta led HR & IR functions at Reliance Industries, General Motors, Asian Paints, Crompton Greaves, Rallis India and Gujarat Guardian.
Mehta holds a Master’s in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, and a Diploma in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare from Poona University.
