It is reported that HCL Technologies BPO business has secured a key out sourcing contract from Citibank. The deal would lead to set up of a new processes for loans, financial products and customer support. The work on the project is scheduled to commence in August 2012, and the hiring for the same has already commenced. The deal is valued at $ 200 Million (Source: Economic Times)
Earlier this year, HCL had bagged the deal for Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), valued at $ 250 – 300 Million, where in the company is slated to deploy about 1000 employees for the project in delivery centers in India as well as abroad. The project also involved set up an offshore delivery center (ODC) in Bangalore.
