HCL Technologies announces plans to hire 1,000 people in Andhra Pradesh

HCL Technologies’ said in a press statement that its global IT development centre is organising a virtual “Mega Recruitment Drive” in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada to hire around 1,000 freshers and experienced professionals. The hiring drive will be held on February 12 and 13, the company said in a press note on Thursday.

Located in Gannavaram in Vijayawada, the IT development centre has been operational since February 2020, having nearly 1,500 employees. 

Commenting on the development, Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice President, HCL Technologies, said in the press note, “HCL Vijayawada is organising a Mega Recruitment Drive on February 12 and February 13, 2021, that will present opportunities to both freshers and experienced professionals to join one of our fastest growing and most exciting New Vistas centres in Vijayawada.” 

“In the last four years, our centres in New Vistas locations like Madurai, Lucknow, Nagpur and Vijayawada have nurtured and hired over 15,000 candidates who are now an integral part of HCL Technologies,” she added.

HCL Vijayawada focuses on high-end technologies including engineering research and development, application development and product & platforms business. The skill centre can currently train 1,000 people. 

HCL will hire fresher graduates and experienced professionals with 2-8 years of experience in technologies such as Java, Chip Designing, .Net, Azure, Microservices, SAP, Python, Protocol Development, Networking, DevOps and Automation testing.
