Ashish Gosavi to head Operations, Customer Services & Contact Centre of Universal Sompo

Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd, a joint venture of Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Karnataka Bank Ltd, Dabur Investment Corporation and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. has appointed Mr. Ashish Gosavi head of Operations, Customer Services & Contact Centre w.e.f. 19th October 2020. 

Prior to joining Universal Sompo, Mr. Gosavi has been working with a Global insurer, AIA Bhd, as Head – Applications Management – Business Solutions, based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In his career of 22 years, he has worked in various leadership roles and was associated with L&T General Insurance, Reliance General Insurance, ICICI Lombard & New India Assurance Co. Ltd.

The company has footprints across the country to serve its customers with 17 Zonal Offices, 86 Branch Offices and a workforce of 1500 employees. It offers a range of products catering to Retail, Rural, SME & Corporate customer segments. It serves customers through a distribution network of banks, agents, brokers, auto dealers, POSPs and CSCs.
