Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has won the 2021 Hr Network Scotland National Award in the category Best Employer/ Workplace of the Year.
The Hr Network Scotland National Awards acknowledge and reward leaders in the HR profession in Scotland. The Best Employer/ Workplace of the Year category takes the whole organisation into consideration, with judges looking for evidence and accreditations that reflect a positive workplace culture and work-life balance, according to the statement.
TCS was selected as the winner in recognition of its industry-leading job creation and staff satisfaction. TCS impressed the judges in overcoming the challenges of Covid-19, early in the pandemic, by seamlessly transitioning to Secure Borderless Workspaces™, a resilient and adaptable remote working model to protect the health and well-being of all its employees and ensure business continuity for customers, it said.
TCS has been driving remote upskilling and reskilling initiatives for its diverse workforce through its digital learning platform ‘iEvolve’. The company also supports its employees’ career aspirations through a transparent framework called ‘CareerHub’, which encourages staff to learn and grow. The High Potential Program identifies, engages, and fosters future leaders. The program has already seen 100 high potential employees mentored by 35 leaders across the business.
The ‘TCS Cares’ initiative promotes awareness, understanding, and acceptance around mental health and provides support through qualified counselors and self-help resources. The company also organizes cultural events, fun activities, and community development projects to keep employees engaged and motivated.
