Former Diageo India CISO, Vikram GR, has joined Wipro Enterprises. Wipro Enterprises’ portfolio has Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting and Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN).
In his new role at Wipro Enterprises, Vikram GR will be focusing on IT compliance besides Information Security Management. He will be responsible for designing and executing the company’s information security strategy for the company.
At Diageo India, Vikram GR was responsible for Information Security Management, Audit & Controls Compliance and data privacy. Earlier, he has worked with global organizations like EY, Protiviti and Paladion.
In his previous stints, Vikram GR has had to his credit implementation of innovative cybersecurity user awareness programs as well as establishment of multiple governance groups and mechanisms for effective communication to senior leadership. He abides by the philosophy of cyber and risk conscious IT and business processes.
Wipro Consumer is a leading FMCG Lighting & Switches and Office Furniture business. WIN is a diversified engineering business in Hydraulics, Water Treatment, Additive Manufacturing, Aerospace and Automation Solutions.
