Forbes Marshall Ranked 5th “Best Workplace in India”, 2013

Forbes Marshall has been ranked the 5th Best Workplace for the year 2013-14, based on a survey conducted across India by the Great Place to Work Institute® in association with The Economic Times. This is the fifth time that the company has ranked in this survey since it started participating; it has been ranked earlier in 2012, 2011, 2008 and 2005. This year 535 of India’s leading organizations participated in the survey, and to be # 5 is a great achievement.

Forbes Marshall is also the Best in Manufacturing Industry in India in the survey this year and is the only Pune company to have consistently ranked high in the survey year on year. This is a noteworthy achievement for an engineering company in a listing dominated by the IT and ITES sectors (organizations preceding in rank are Google # 1, Intel # 2, Amex #3, NIIT # 4).

Forbes Marshall has scored well on several pillars like Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. Members of Forbes Marshall have rated the management high on these factors. They feel that communications are open and accessible, there is integrity in carrying out the company’s vision with consistency and competence. A general sense of well being, trust, camaraderie and respect for members prevails in the organization. Practices at the workplace are just, equitable and impartial. Members feel a sense of pride in their work, team and company. Members care about each other and provide support; they feel that it is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere there is a feeling of “family” and “team”.
