Apcotex Industries Limited, one of the leading producers of Synthetic Emulsion Polymers in India, announced the re-appointment of Abhiraj Choksey as Managing Director of the company, effective May 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today i.e on 29th March 2022, based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, approved the re-appointment of Shri Abhiraj Choksey as Managing Director of the Company for the period of 3 years with effect from 1st May 2022.”
Abhiraj Choksey graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Engineering and Business from Wharton. He worked in strategy consulting and IT in the United States for a few years before joining Apcotex in 2005. He is associated with the Company since 2005 in various capacities and has been the Managing Director since May 2010. He is on the Executive Committee of the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), and an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the statement said.
