Anand Shankar has joined Tata Group as Director, Tata Management Training Centre and Senior Vice President, Group Human Resources, Tata Group.

Shankar has 23 years of experience in leading various functions across industries. Before joining Tata Group, he was Partner and Leader – HR Transformation at Deloitte, where he served for more than three years.
Earlier in his career, Shankar was associated with Aon Hewitt for more than eight years. He joined Aon as Chief Commercial Officer – Asia Pacific in 2009 and after serving various roles, he became Global Chief Commercial Officer – Talent, Rewards & Performance in 2016, before leaving the company.
His longest stint of 11 years was with Hewitt Associates as Regional Manager – Client Development, Asia Pacific. He has also worked with Talent2 International as Group Director – Corporate Development; Littlewoods PLC (International Retail) as Manager – Retail Store Operations; and Taj Group of Hotels as Food & Beverage Manager.
Shankar is an alumnus of IHMCTAN, Chennai and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Chicago, US.
