Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland has appointed Ganesh Mani as President and Chief of Operations. He will head the entire Operations that include Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain the company said in a release.

Ganesh joins Ashok Leyland from Hyundai Motors where he was the Director of Manufacturing Operations. He was also the Member of the Board of Directors at Hyundai. He has worked with Maruti Suzuki Ltd also. Being a process-driven strategic leader, he has been a pioneer of new ways of Operations and challenging the conventional methods.
He has 7 patents/copyrights to his credit for the special Manufacturing Processes. He is also serving as Vice Chairman, CII Chennai Zone.
