Dozee strengthens leadership team with new hires, Angsuman Hazra named VP – Sales and Marketing

Dozee, a Contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions provider, has made key hires in its Product, Marketing and Innovations and Clinical Research departments as it embarks on an aggressive expansion drive to partner with 1000+ hospitals in both public and private sector in the next 12 months.

Angsuman Hazra has been named Vice President – Sales and Marketing and Romit Shankar has joined as Head of Product. Amar Dani has been appointed as Head of Data Science, a statement said.

Dozee has grown 3.5x over the past year and has been installed in over 7,000 beds in 300 hospitals covering 40 districts across India to monitor patients continuously and to help doctors & nurses enhance patient care and clinical outcomes. The company is looking to fill leadership positions across departments and hire 100+ across functions like sales, marketing, tech, project management, R&D and business roles. The company is also planning to visit 10+ campuses this year to bring in fresh talent and groom them to be the future leaders of Dozee, according to the company’s statement.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare space and decades of experience in Cardiology, Angsuman Hazra  is well known in the industry for his strong leadership capabilities, customer centricity and building new product categories from the ground up. In his new role, Angsuman Hazra will be leading the Sales & Marketing for Dozee in the Indian Subcontinent.

Romit Shankar will drive the product and the design charter. He brings with him 18+ years of experience in Medical Devices and Healthcare Interfaces with GE. Over the next few months, a key focus area for Romit will be the expansion of the engineering and product teams.

Amar Dani is a seasoned technology leader with vast experience in data science for 14+ years. He is passionate about AI and has worked extensively in the data science domain. He would lead the DS team to take the AI-powered technology to the next level and will be closely working with Co-founder Gaurav Parchani.  

Along with these Devaiah Somayanda has joined as Head, Human Resources, Bhupinder Singh Pawa as Head, QARA and Pooja Kadambi as Head- Innovations and Clinical Research.
