Honeywell Automation India Ltd. (HAIL) has named Ganesh Natarajan as Independent Director (Non-Executive) and Chairman of the Board of Directors, with effect from March 8.
In this role, Natarajan will oversee the overall strategy, business, and financial matters of the company.
Natarajan will succeed Suresh Senapaty, who will step down as Independent Director and Chairman of HAIL on March 7 after a five-year long tenure.
HAIL stated, “Senapaty has conveyed his desire not to seek reappointment as Independent Director of the company for a second term due to his personal commitments.”
“Ganesh Natarajan brings with him a rich and varied experience as a seasoned CEO, a tech entrepreneur, and an industry thought leader,” Managing Director at HAIL – Ashish Gaikwad, commented in a statement.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Ganesh Natarajan served for 25 years as CEO for Aptech and Zensar Technologies.
