Healthium Medtech, a company focused on medical devices within the surgical and post-surgical sectors, including wound closure and advanced wound care, has announced the appointment of Rajnish Damani as its Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this newly established position, Damani will be responsible for overseeing the company’s Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain operations across its various units. He will report directly to Anish Bafna, CEO & MD of Healthium Medtech.

The creation of this role and Damani’s appointment are part of Healthium’s strategy to enhance operational efficiency by integrating and streamlining its value chain. The company aims to optimize processes and improve service to patients and healthcare partners by unifying manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D functions under a single leadership structure.

Damani brings over 32 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, quality, and EHS. His background spans various industries, including automotive, healthcare, and power. Before joining Healthium, he was Executive Director – Manufacturing Operations at Bridgestone India. He has also held leadership positions at General Electric, Cummins, and Hindustan Motors. Damani holds an engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
