Vijay Sethi, CIO of Hero MotoCorp, has quit the company after a thirteen-year long stint. His last working day at the automaker was January 20, 2021.
Along with the role of CIO, Sethi was also the Head Human Resources and Head Corporate Social Responsibility at Hero MotoCorp. Prior to joining Hero Motocorp, Sethi had a stint with Ranbaxy as Director Business Solutions, and in TCS as Management Consultant.
“I am writing to inform you that Vijay Sethi has left the organization, effective January 22, 2021 after 13 years of service,” Pawan Munjal in internal staff communication, said.
Before joining Hero MotoCorp in 2007, Sethi has worked with Ranbaxy and TCS in various senior positions.
The automaker has also made Pradeep Eledath as in change of IT function during the interim period until a new CIO is appointed.
“While a CIO would be appointed in due course, Pradeep Eledath, on secondment for EY, will be in charge of the IT function in the interim”, added Munjal.
Pradeep has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity.
