Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the appointment of Kazunari Yamaguchi as Director (Production), with effect from February 1, 2024.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “In accordance with the applicable Regulations of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, you are kindly informed that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held today i.e. 31st January, 2024, approved the appointment of Mr. Kazunari Yamaguchi (DIN: 07961388) as a Wholetime Director designated as Director (Production) for a period of three years with effect from 1st February, 2024 till 31st January, 2027.”
Yamaguchi graduated from Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Kagoshima University. He joined Suzuki Motor Corporation in 1986 where he was assigned to Production Engineering Dept. His area of specialization is Management of Automobile Production Plant.
In Apr 2023, Yamaguchi was assigned to Senior Executive Officer in Production Division, Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
