Blockchain firm New Street Technologies has appointed Arun Prasad G as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Prasad will scale up the operations of New Street Technologies in the BFSI sector.
Prasad has over 27 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. He started his career in 1994 working across organisations in the insurance, credit card and mutual fund industries such as Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund, MetLife, Mastercard, and Fidelity Mutual Fund. Before joining New Street Technologies, Prasad was Deputy Chief Executive Officer at BOI AXA Mutual Fund, according to a statement.
Arun Prasad G, Chief Operating Officer, New Street Technologies, said, “Having spent a long time in various parts of the financial services industry, I have seen the continuous increase in the cost of doing business owing to more requirements in compliances, verification and risk mitigation measures that are mandated either by regulations or by market requirements.”
