Jubilant Foodworks Netherlands B. V. (JFN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, announced it has increased its stake in DP Eurasia N.V., the exclusive master franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform that Jubilant Foodworks Netherlands B.V. (“JFN”), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has increased its stake in DP Eurasia N.V. (“DPEU”) through various on-market purchases.”
DP Eurasia is the exclusive master franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. DP Eurasia (together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) is the largest pizza delivery Company in Turkey and the third largest in Russia. The Group offers pizza delivery and takeaway/ eat-in facilities at its 827 stores (628 in Turkey, 184 in Russia, 10 in Azerbaijan and 5 in Georgia as on 30th June 2022) and operates through its owned corporate stores (22%) and franchised stores (78%).
“As on October 3, 2022, JFN is holding 7,14,13,939 ordinary shares in DPEU representing 49.04% of its issued share capital,” the exchange filing said.
