Stock investment startup Smallcase has announced that it has raised $40 million in Faering Capital Series C round. Faering’s Managing Director and Co-founder – Sameer Shroff will be joining the company’s board.
The round saw participation from Premji Invest and Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund (ASFV), along with existing investors DSP Group, Sequoia Capital India, Beenxt, WEH Ventures and Blume Ventures.
Speaking on the announcement, Vasanth Kamath, Founder and CEO of smallcase, said, “We are focused on expanding our offerings to cement smallcase’s position as the premier portfolio investing layer across asset classes for the retail investor and are excited to welcome our new investor partners with extensive experience in scaling technology and financial services businesses.”
