In this month, Naukri.com, is again far ahead, and has more job listings than all others combined. This time Bangalore, happens to have the maximum job listings across Indeed, Times Jobs & Monster. On the other side, Delhi/NCR have the maximum job listings on Naukri.com.
Back in October’19, we picked up job posting data from the top job portals of India to see which one of them hosts most job listings. We also did an analysis of job listings on these platforms for key cities. The idea has been to take a dipstick of emerging opportunities in the different cities, as well as to see the platform that hosts more listings across these cities and in overall.
We’re back and decided to have a quick look around the well known job portals in India, to ascertain who has most job listings across the key cities. For this study, we considered Naukri.com, TimeJobs.com, MonsterIndia.com, and Indeed.com (India). Job postings on these portals for the following cities were analysed – Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Delhi/NCR*, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Pune.
Key Observations:
- Naukri.com is far ahead and has more job listings than all others combined. The total job listings on Naukri.com, across the above mentioned cities, is 58.62% of the total listings from all four portals. On the other extreme, Monster has just 11.28% of total job listings. Previously, Monster had 7.99% and it increased by around 4%. On the other hand, Naukri.com shows a decline of around 5%. (In October’19 Naukri.com had 63.53% job listings)
- Bangalore listings are 23.37% of total listings across all the cities. Delhi/NCR comes next with 21.57%, followed by Mumbai with 17.09% of total job listings across these cities across the four job portals. Kolkata, accounts for only 5.79% of all job listings.
- Naukri.com happens to have most job listings in Delhi – 24.48%, followed by Bangalore – 22.81%.
- Indeed happens to have maximum job listings in Hyderabad/Secunderabad – 22.26%, followed by Bangalore – 20.54%.
- TimesJobs happens to have maximum job listings in Bangalore – 23.51%, followed by Delhi/NCR – 22.72%.
- Monster has most of its listings in Bangalore – 29.17%, followed by Mumbai – 17.82%.
