MyBasePay, a workforce management platform for contingent labor and employer-of-record (EOR) services, has appointed Angela Alberty as its new Chief Executive Officer. Alberty, who previously served as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, steps into the role as MyBasePay looks to expand its footprint in the workforce solutions space.

With over 15 years of experience in contingent workforce management, Alberty brings deep industry expertise to the role. She co-founded MyBasePay in 2021 and has played a key role in shaping its product strategy and go-to-market efforts.

Her appointment marks a leadership transition aimed at supporting the company’s continued growth, particularly in areas such as independent talent engagement, EOR solutions, and compliance.

“MyBasePay was created to help companies adapt to the demands of a changing workforce,” Alberty said in the announcement. “Our mission has always been about expanding access to work while simplifying how organizations manage contingent labor.”

Alberty is also known for her efforts to elevate underrepresented voices in the staffing industry and currently co-hosts The Ivy Podcast, where she speaks with business leaders across sectors.
