The 2013 rankings for Economic Times & Great Places to Work Institute study for best Places to Work For in India is out and once again Google, and Intel have taken the first 2 slots as India best companies to work for.
Key highlights:
- Among the companies ranked in top 10 – Google, Intel, American Express, MakeMyTrip, and Mariott Hotels have maintained their presence over last 3 years and Google & Intel have managed to hold their rankings.
- American Express and NTPC, has swapped places – American Express has moved from 6th Rank in 2012 to 3rd Rank in 2013, and NIPC has moved from 3rd Rank in 2012 to 6th Rank in 2013.
- Ujjivan Financial Services is a fresh entry in top 10, and the company was ranked 21 in 2012, and 14th in 2011.
- Forbes Marshal, which moved to the top 10 in 2012 , has maintained its rank at number 5.
The study covered 550 companies spanning 22 industries, and surveyed 98,998 employees.
