Corporate mobility platform Routematic has brought on board Chaitanya Koduri as its new Engineering Lead, as the company sharpens its focus on scaling its AI-powered commute solutions and backend infrastructure.

Koduri, who joins from Salesforce where he was Senior Engineering Manager, brings over 16 years of experience in software development, including five years in engineering leadership roles. At Salesforce, he was involved in leading large-scale product development initiatives focused on user experience and performance outcomes.

At Routematic, he will head the company’s engineering and technology roadmap, with a focus on strengthening its AI stack, scaling its vehicle fleet systems, and enhancing the functionality of its Command Centre operations. The company currently supports commute services for over 350,000 employees across more than 300 enterprises in 23 cities.

“We are pleased to have Chaitanya on board at such a crucial inflection point… He will help accelerate our innovation roadmap and bring sharper execution to our technology vision,” said Sriram Kannan, Founder & CEO of Routematic.

Kavitha Ramachandragowda, Co-Founder and Executive Director, added, “His experience will be critical in delivering future-ready, sustainable mobility solutions for enterprise India.”

Commenting on his appointment, Koduri said, “Routematic is solving a large, complex problem at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and workforce mobility. I’m thrilled to join a mission-driven company that’s reshaping how India commutes—at scale and with empathy.”

Corporate mobility is increasingly becoming a strategic focus for enterprises looking to improve workforce productivity, reduce operational inefficiencies, and meet sustainability goals. With hybrid work models and urban congestion on the rise, reliable employee transport solutions have emerged as a critical enabler of business continuity, talent retention, and ESG commitments—prompting organisations to invest in data-driven, tech-enabled commute platforms.

The appointment follows Routematic’s recent $40 million Series C funding round, raised in May 2025 from Fullerton Carbon Action Fund and Shift4Good. The company aims to scale its EV fleet and Transport-as-a-Service (TaaS) offerings, with a goal to electrify 30% of its fleet by 2027 and establish city-level operations centres for round-the-clock transport oversight.
