Amazon India to onboard 3,000 freshers from campus in 2021

E-commerce giant, Amazon is planning to hire 3,000 freshers from campus in 2021 in India.

Swati Rustagi, HR Director at Amazon India Operations, informed LinkedIn in an interview, “Our campus hiring program will continue strongly and we will hire over 3000 individuals from campus this year. In fact, we used the opportunity to experiment with our hiring model on campuses, and we launched the Amazon future beta program in the midst of the pandemic.”

“Freshers and first-time job seekers are always welcome at Amazon. Many of them continue to work with us through conversions, after internships,” Swati further added.

Previously, in November 2020, Amazon India has rolled out a “special recognition bonus” of up to Rs 6,300 to its employees in India. This payout is in line with similar payouts being offered to employees and associates in other countries.

The announcement for the same was made in a blogpost by Amazon Worldwide Operations Senior Vice President Dave Clark. Clark mentioned that India operations employees employed by the company from October 16 – November 13 will qualify for a bonus of Rs 6,300 for full-time employees and Rs 3,150 for part-time employees.
