Registration begins for NEET 2020 May examination

The process of registration for NEET 2020 to begin today from 4pm onwards. The exam is to take place in  May, 2020.

Candidates can register for the exam through ‘Online’ mode only. Online application form can be submitted by accessing the website address on ntaneet.nic.in. The last date to apply online for the NEET 2020 (UG) examination is December 31, 2019. 

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in recognized Medical & other Colleges in India. The exam will be conducted in 11 languages. The admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will be made through NEET only. ‘Hijab’, ‘burkha’, ‘kara’ and ‘kirpan’ will also be allowed in the NEET 2020. 

There are no changes in the question paper pattern. The paper will comprise of physics, chemistry and biology (zoology and botany) and will be a total of 180 questions, 45 questions for each section. The counselling will be done by the directorate general of health services (DGHS) including AIIMS and JIPMER.
