Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd, a leading manufacturer and retailer of building materials in India, has appointed Abhijit Bhalerao as Chief Information Officer. He will be based out of Mumbai.
In this new role, Bhalerao will be responsible for leading the technology initiatives at Nuvoco group companies across Business applications, Enterprise architecture & Infrastructure domains.
Most recently, Bhalerao was Head-Group IT at Force Motors Group Companies. He has over 21 years of Professional and Technology Consulting expertise leveraging the potential of emerging technologies to consistently deliver business-focused solutions.
In the past, he has also served as Director at Ernst and Young LLP and advised Business CXOs on Technology, Infrastructure, IT Architecture and organization-wide Analytics adoption.
In addition to Consulting (EY LLP), he has worked in IT (HCL Technology), and Manufacturing (Essar, Raymond, Steelage Industries), and brings a unique blend of Industry and Consulting experience.
Bhalerao holds a Masters in Computer Software & Applications and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
