
Adani Power has appointed Nitin Rohilla as Chief Information Officer. He will be based out of Ahmedabad and report directly to Anil Sardana, MD of Adani Power.
In this new role, Rohilla will be responsible for spearheading the company’s digital transformation and IT initiatives for business growth.
“In my view, IT is an enabler to business. A CIO’s role should be business-driven and not just technology-driven. All IT initiatives should drive business value as a function of efficient people/employee, improved and effective processes and Information Technology that brings consistency and standardization,” Rohilla told ETCIO.
Prior to this, Rohilla was Vice President-IT at Adani Electricity. He has close to 30 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Tata Power, Cairn Energy, and BSES Delhi.
Rohilla has done his MBA from FMS Delhi and Bachelors in Technology from NIT Kurukshetra.
