Akamai Technologies, has appointed Sidharth Malik, the former senior Director at Microsoft India, as Vice President and Managing Director for Akamai India business. Sidharth will be responsible for leading and expanding Akamai’s India operations. He will be based out of Bangalore and report to Sanjay Singh, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Akamai Asia Pacific & Japan.

Sidharth, an 18 year veteran has previously worked with Microsoft India as senior director of Developer Platform Business. He has also held key positions at Telelogic, IBM , Salesforce.com, Tata Elxsi.
