Shilpa Medicare, a pharmaceutical company, announced the appointment of Alpesh Dalal as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective from May 31 2021. He succeeds Sushil Bajaj who served the company for more than three years and resigned in January 2021.
Dalal has over 22 years of experience in the field of business finance, corporate finance, M&A, strategy and investor relations having concluded 20+ M&A, fund raising, Corporate restructuring & JV restructuring deals, according to his LinkedIn page.
Dalal has served in leadership positions in companies like Raymond, Cipla, Lupin, Thomas Cook, Wockhardt, and in other capacities in Indian Corporate Financial Services and Prime Securities. He started his journey in 1998 as Manager- Audit at the chartered accountancy firm Haribhakti & Co.
Dalal has B.Com degree in Accounting & Finance from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, and a CA, Accounts & Finance from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
