Nachiket Pantvaidya has joined Asianet News Media & Entertainment as Managing Director. Prior to this, he was the group chief operating officer of Balaji Telefilms and chief executive officer of ALTBalaji. He joined ALTBalaji in December 2015.
Earlier, Pantvaidya had also worked with Sony Pictures Entertainment as senior executive vice president where he looked after profit and loss responsibility for Sony’s lead Hindi broadcast channel in India. He also has experience from having worked with Star TV Network, Fox Corporation, Disney and BBC.
Media reports quoted Rajesh Kalra, executive chairman, AMEL, “I am delighted to welcome a leader like Nachiket to the AMEL family. With his background and significant achievements to boot, he adds significantly to the capability of this wonderful team that is poised to take leadership position in all its areas of functioning.”
Pantvaidya holds PGDM in Business Administration and Management, (General) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
