Ambuja Cements announced the appointment of Neeraj Akhoury as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive officer, effective 21 February, 2020, as per the company’s press release. Akhoury replaces Bimlendra Jha, who has resigned with effect from 20 February, 2020.
Prior to this, Akhoury was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ACC Limited since February, 2017. Sridhar Balakrishnan will now be the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ACC Limited.
Akhoury has a vast experience of 27 years, performing multiple roles including sales and marketing, logistics, corporate affairs including corporate social responsibility, strategy and business development, the company said.
