Amit Pradhan resigns as CTSO & Chief Privacy Officer of Vodafone Idea; to join US-based Mandiant

Amit Pradhan, Vodafone Idea’s Chief Technology & Security Officer (CTSO) and Chief Privacy Officer, has resigned from the roles after a stint of over five years, according to ET report. Pradhan will join as Director in US-based Mandiant Consulting, a cyber investigation and forensics firm .

Pradhan said that he left Vodafone Idea last week and is joining Mandiant Consulting, a US based company which performs advanced cyber investigation, forensics and incident response. He will report into the regional office in Singapore and look after India and neighbouring countries.

Prior to this role, Pradhan served Vodafone Idea as the SVP – Technology Security, CTSO & Chief Privacy Officer for around four years. Prior to that, Pradhan had a stint with Cipla as Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to that, Pradhan had worked with Royal Bank of Scotland and eClerx.

Pradhan holds a BE-Electronics degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Certification course from IIM-Ahmedabad.

Vodafone Idea has recently announced the resignation of its Chief Technology Officer Vishant Vora, who had a decade long stint with the company. He was replaced by Jagbir Singh, a seasoned telecom executive who worked with both Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Also, Vodafone Idea named Manish Sansi as the new Chief Legal Officer who succeeded Kumar Das.
