Automotive Axles Limited has appointed Nagaraja Sadashiva Murthy Gargeshwari as a Whole-time Director of the company, effective April 7, 2022.
“We write to inform you the appointment of Mr. Nagaraja Sadashiva Murthy Gargeshwari, (DIN: 00839616) as the Whole Time Director on the Board effective 7th April 2022,” the exchange filing said.
Nagaraja has a rich experience of more than 31 years in the Automobile and Computer Electronics industries. He commenced his career with Wipro Infotech Ltd as Engineer in 1990. He then worked in Maxtor Peripherals Pte Ltd in Singapore as Associate engineer in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering division. Upon his return to India in 1999, he joined Reva Electric Car company as Senior Engineer before joining Meritor India in 2000. Since then, he has held many managerial positions of increasing responsibility as Team Leader, Engineering Manager, Site Manager and Director of Meritor’s Technical Center at Bengaluru.
In 2017, he moved to Meritor Inc, USA as Senior Director – Global Product Validation and Materials Engineering. In the role he has led international team of about 220 Engineers and Technicians, managing and directing global test labs and materials engineering functions along with the Technical Centre at Bengaluru.
Nagaraja did his MBA in International Management from ICFAI university in 2010 & completed B.Sc in Engineering Technology in 2003 from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. In 1990, he completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from C.P.C Polytechnic, Mysore.
Established in 1981, Automotive Axles Limited (AAL) is a joint venture of Kalyani Group and Meritor Inc., USA. With manufacturing facilities located at Mysore (Karnataka) and Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), the company manufactures drive axles, non-drive axles, front steer axles, specialty & defence axles and drum & disc brakes.
